VARHAUG FASTEST IN THE LAST TEST

The GP3 teams met up on 22^nd and 23^rd April 2015 for the final pre-season test days at the Circuito de Catalunya near Barcelona (E) with 24 drivers attending. Pal Varhaug (NOR), Mathéo Tuscher (CH) and Ralph Boschung (CH) ran for Jenzer Motorsport.

The weather was overcast on the first morning and things stayed quiet for quite a bit. Some time into the session the qualification simulations started and by the end of the morning Pal had set an excellent 2^nd fastest time, while Ralph was up in 4^th and Mathéo was 12^th .
The track was damp in the afternoon and only dried off towards the end. This time we were working on race simulations using the “hard” tyres for the first time. At the end of the afternoon Mathéo was 10^th position, Pal was 11^th and Ralph was 17^th .

On the second day the teams were greeted by sunny weather and all drivers went on track to run the final qualification simulations. Pal managed a great lap and his time remained unbeaten. Mathéo was in a fantastic 4^th and Ralph in a great 6^th place. That meant all three of our drivers were within the top giving us the best team performance yet again.
In the afternoon the last race distance runs were covered. Pal again claimed the top spot on the time sheets! Ralph was also very well placed in 5^th while Mathéo was 12^th.

We are now eagerly anticipating the first race of the new season which will be part of the Formula 1 Grand Prix programme on 9^th/10^th May 2015, also in Barcelona (E).
