Concept of FIA Formula 4
FIA Formula 4 Italian Championship
With the support of FIA, the Automobile Club of Italy, the ACI CSAI, has launched the 2014 Italian F4 Championship in order to establish their “benchmark” national entry single-seater championship.

| Tyres: | Six slick tyres will be available at each event for the free practice sessions, qualifying sessions and races. Wet-weather tyres may be used when required by the conditions. |
All drivers must be at least 15 years old on 1st January of the year of the championship and must hold an appropriate National Licence issued by the ASN.
In order to make the most of track time at meetings, the program will feature two test sessions, two qualifying sessions and three races per weekend. Private testing will be unrestricted, except for some rules with regard to championship circuits.
At the end of the season, the champion is given an allowance to enable them to progress to a higher level championship, in agreement with the ASN.
In Italy the promoter of the series is WSK Promotion srl, who is already the promoter of CIK-FIA Karting World Championship.
