Mathéo Tuscher wins again

GP3-Series

Mathéo Tuscher won both races at the latest Formula Pilota China Series meeting last weekend, the battle again fought out on the Grand Prix circuit in Shanghai. With six races of the 12 race series completed, he leads the championship ahead of the more experienced Luis Sá Silva. The rules are very similar to the Italian Formula Abarth series, with one qualifying session and two races each weekend. The grid for the second race is formed based on the fastest lap set by each driver in race one.

A heavy downpour just before qualifying left the track soaked and the session was run on rain tyres. Despite the challenging conditions Matthéo claimed pole position.

Despite more rain and the resulting very tricky conditions Mathéo drove a good tactical race to claim victory although he had to resist repeated attacks by Sá Silva.

In race two Mathéo again managed to win the race starting from pole. However, he stalled at the start and ended up 4th, staging a courageous recovery drive to come through to yet another victory.
