Race One (30 minutes + 1 lap)
Sonntag, 27.06.21, 09.00 Uhr, Wetter: Sonnig, 25°C
With a different schedule than usual, all three races took place on Sunday. The lights went off for the opening race of the weekend at 09:00, when temperatures were already hot. From 24th place on the grid, Samir made a good getaway as the large field headed for the first corner. He managed to power his way up to 15th position. On lap 13 a Safety Car had to be deployed after two cars collided. Samir stayed out of trouble, holding his position to the chequered flag that saw him taking a great 15th place. Piotr started from 19th and took advantage of the trouble in front to move up one position. After the race was restarted when Safety Car went in, he moved up to 17th place where he crossed the finish line. Francesco took a roaring start from 27th place and muscled his way up to 18th place at the end of the opening lap. Unfortunately, he collided with a broken part from another car which was lying on track. This forced him back to the pitlane where his front wing was replaced. Francesco re-joined the race, but was now far back. Taking advantage of the Safety Car, our Italian driver closed the gap to the field and started his comeback. He crossed the finish line in a perfectly recovered 24th place. After a tricky qualifying session, Jorge started from the back of the grid. The Mexican driver did a good start that saw him immediately taking 27th spot. He remained in this position during long laps but after the Safety Car phase managed some successful moves to cross the finish line in 25th place.

Race Two (30 minutes + 1 lap)
Sunday, 27/06/21, 13.00, Weather: Sunny, 33°C
Race 2 got underway at 13:00, with temperatures raising up to 33 degrees in the midday heat and posing an additional challenge. Probably the drivers felt a bit hot themselves, too! On a frenetic first lap, Francesco stayed out of trouble and moved up to 15th place first and further higher in 13th place by the end of the lap. Behind him, Piotr (20th on the grid) and Samir (29th) got away well, immediately making up positions and putting themselves in 19th and 26th spot respectively. Jorge started in 26th position but dropped down to 29th and that’s when disaster struck. A collision between our Mexican driver and Armanni left Jorge with a badly damaged car and put an end to his race on the first lap. Luckily the drivers were unhurt. The Safety Car had to be deployed. As the race restarted, our drivers took advantage to make some great moves and climb up the field. Francesco was in the fight for 12th position when he could not avoid getting caught up in an accident between Bedrin and Lomko. The Safety Car had to be deployed again and remained on track until the end of the race. Francesco, although with a badly damaged car could not finish the race, was still classified 25th on the results list. Piotr exploited the chaotic situation on track to make his way up and, when the race finished under SC, he was in very good 11th position. Behind him, Samir also was able to improve his position and came home in 21st place.

Race Three (28 minutes + 1 lap)
Sunday, 27/06/21, 17.00, Weather: Sunny, 35°C
At the start of the 3rd race there were scorching temperatures of 35°C. Several accidents occurred immediately, and unfortunately Samir was also involved. A competitor kicked him from behind, so that Samir flew off the track and stranded with a damaged vehicle. A rollover accident occurred further ahead. Fortunately, the driver was able to get out unhurt. Francesco wanted to avoid the chaos that followed, but he damaged his vehicle when he got off the track himself. All vehicles that were still moving were called back to the pit lane, where they had to wait in the unrelenting heat until the track was clear again. The new start took place 40 minutes after the first start. At this point, Pior was in 20th place, and Jorge was in 22nd place. In the remaining 19 minutes + 1 lap, everyone drove fairly unobtrusively and there were not many further incidents. In the end, the two racing parts were counted together. In the end, Jorge was listed in 17th place and Piotr immediately behind in 18th place.
The fourth race meeting of the Italian Formula championship is scheduled for the weekend of 25th July in Imola (I).
