RACE ONE (30 MINUTES + 1 LAP)
Saturday, 06/07/19, 12.45, Weahter: Sunny, 31°C
The first F4 race of the weekend started at noon in the main heat of the day. Giorgio got away well and improved his position, but because the track was really dirty everywhere except on the racing line, it was not easy to overtake. And anyone who got off line, even by just a fraction, soon found that they couldn’t then control their car so easily. Almost inevitably there was an accident and the Safety Car had to be deployed. At the restart Giorgio continued to improve, battling his way up to 9th place. He then came under pressure from Belov, who finally managed to get past leaving Giorgio to finish 10th, picking up the last available point. Jonny, who did not get the best of starts, lost a couple of places early on but then recovered to fight his way back to 11th. Axel also did well and improved his position to finish 17th. Emidio crossed the finish line in 28th place.
After the race a series of time penalties were handed out to drivers for improving their sector times under double yellow flags. This changed the final result, and our drivers Jonny, Axel and Emidio, joined seven others who all consequently lost places.

RACE TWO (30 MINUTES + 1 LAP)
Sunday, 07/07/19, 10.25, Weather: Sunny, 27°C
There was an accident on the warm-up lap, so the start was aborted in favour of a restart. That led to another accident when someone stalled. The third start was successful and the big field finally got to race. Jonny got away well and slotted in in 5th place, having to defend against Rasmussen briefly before he was able to open up a gap. He kept up with the top drivers easily and finished a tough race in 5th overall, 2nd on the rookie podium. Giorgio started in 20th place and managed to make up places immediately. During the closing laps of the race he improved to 15th place. Emidio and Axel were also able to avoid all the accidents and come home safely to cross the finish line after the many interruptions and hold ups in baking hot temperatures. Emidio was 22nd and Axel was 25th.

RACE THREE (28 MINUTES + 1 LAP)
Sunday, 07/07/2019, 15.35, Weather: Cloudy, 23°C
Dark clouds were gathering over the circuit as the third race of the weekend started. There was an accident which involved Axel almost immediately; someone made contact and Axel’s car became airborne before rolling through the gravel. The car was badly damaged, though fortunately the driver was fine. The race was immediately red flagged and stopped, and by the restart the "Wet Race" sign was being displayed as the black clouds approached at speed. Luckily it stayed dry until the end. Jonny was 7th and locked in a fight with Alatalo and Rasmussen. He dropped back to 8th a couple of times, but after a strong race he took the flag in 7th place. This meant that he was 2nd on the rookie podium again. Giorgio also did well, working his way up from 19th place to 11th, while Emidio improved his position as he started 24th and crossed the finish in 16th.
The fourth race meeting of the Italian Formula championship is scheduled for the weekend of 14th July 2019 at the RedBull Ring (A).
