Press Release 06 / 2018
31st March 2018
JMS with multicultural drivers in the 2018 Italian F4 Championship
Jenzer Motorsport presents the multicultural range of drivers who will represent our colors in Italy in 2018. In the new season we will rely on:
From the previous year:
Giorgio Carrara (ARG), 17, from Las Breñas, Argentina. Giorgio returns to the Italian F4 Championship with us after a first season in 2017, where he achieved an excellent 3rd place in the rookie classification. Now he wants to consolidate what he has learned last year, and hope impress with plenty of great results!
Gregoire Saucy (CH), 18, from Bassecourt, Switzerland. Gregoire tried Formula 4 at the end of last season and has now chosen our team for a full season in this category. He brings experience from karting and Formula Renault 2.0.
Federico Malvestiti (I), 17, from Monza, Italy. Federico decided to join our team in 2017 and now, like Giorgio, he wants to build on the last season. Federico has planned carefully for this year and wants to get top results!
The new crop:
Nazim Azman (MAL), 17, from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Nazim grew up close to the famous Formula 1 Sepang circuit, so it was not surprising that he won his first kart race early on. From then on, his path has led him through the Asia Cup Series, Formula 4 South East Asia and Formula 4 Spain to the Italian Formula 4 Championship with us. Nazim wants to deepen his motorsport career with further experience in Europe and undertakes a comprehensive program.
Javier Gonzalez (MEX), 17, from Mexico City, Mexico. Javier can look back on a successful career in karting in Mexico and North America. In 2017, he ventured into Formula 4 and chose the French championship as his starting point. He achieved very good results, which led him to do a double program with the Spanish Championship. For 2018, he has great plans and wants to join us in the fight for top positions in the Italian Championship.
Oliver Rasmussen (DK), 17, from Denmark. Oliver is the only one moving straight from karting into single seater racing, so he really is our rookie! He will continue his international kart racing career as well this year, but after a test series with us in the winter has decided to start in parallel in single seaters. We are delighted to welcome him and the other drivers to our team!
