ALATALO SHINES AT THE TESTS IN BARCELONA

The 10 teams of the FIA F3 Championship met on April 15^th and 16^th, 2022 for the last two days of official testing of the new season at the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona. Pleasant spring weather accompanied the days.

On the first morning, William managed to come impress with the 7^th fastest time of the 30 competitors. Federico achieved 19^th and Ido 27^th position. In the afternoon some settings were tried out and race simulations were run. With all 30 drivers chasing times towards the end of the session, it wasn't easy to get a clear lap. Federico finished in 20^th, William in 22^nd and Ido in 26^th position.

On the second morning, William was unable to repeat his laptime from day one. He was 21^st before midday, Federico 27^th and Ido 29^th. In the afternoon, our drivers once again achieved very good performances in the long runs. William ended the session at the top of the results list, with Federico in 7^th and Ido just behind him in 8^th. With all three drivers in the top ten, this was a very good end to the test days..

Next week, we will be looking forward to the second race event of the season, which takes place on the weekend of 24^th April at Imola, where FIA F3 will again be part of the support program for the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
