GOOD PERFORMANCE AT THE FIA F3 TESTS IN BARCELONA

After two exciting racing events that started the season early, the 10 teams of the FIA F3 Championship met for three days of testing at the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona. Pleasant spring weather accompanied the days.

On the first morning, Charlie managed to achieve the 3^rd fastest time of the 30 drivers. Matias reached 12^th and Max 18^th position. In the afternoon, some settings were tried out and racing simulations were run. Since all 30 drivers were chasing times again towards the end of the session, it was not easy to get a free lap. Max reached an excellent 8^th, Charlie was a very good 9^th right behind him, and Matias was in 27^th place.

On the second morning, Max managed to improve steadily and shone with 8^th place before midday. Charlie took 18^th place and Matias was 23^rd. In the afternoon our drivers aimed for very good performance in the long runs. Charlie finished the session in 14^th place, with Max right behind him in 15^th. Matias finished in 25^th place.

Finally, the third day began again with a hard-fought qualifying simulation. With 30 cars on the track you had to pay attention to both the tires and the traffic. Charlie had a good run and reached 14^th place, Max achieved 17^th and right behind him was Matias in 18^th place. The afternoon was once again reserved for performance in long runs. Charlie had completed the most laps of the 30 drivers and still finished in an excellent 11^th place in the rankings. Max took 18^th place and was solidly in the middle of the field, while Matias took 30^th place.

After that, the FIA F3 Championship will travel to the remaining 8 European events in the supporting program of the FIA Formula 1 Grand Prix races. The remaining racing program begins with the first event in Imola, on the weekend of May 19, 2024.
