FIA F4 CEZ Championship

Race One (25 minutes)

Saturday, 10/06/23, 10.50, Weather: Cloudy, 16°C

The first of two races got underway at Slovakiaring on Saturday morning on a dry track. From second spot on the grid, Reno kept his position as the lights went out at the start. Behind him, Ethan and Mathias Bjerre immediately began a fight for the podium. Sauter managed to build a gap but, lap after lap, Reno found his rhythm and appeared bigger and bigger in his rival’s mirrors. With Sauter struggling with his tires, Reno left the best for the final stages. The young Dutch quickly closed the gap and powered past Sauter in the last lap. As the checkered flag waved, Reno took his maiden win in the championship, with this extending his lead. Ethan kept the upper hand against the teammate Mathias Bjerre to secure the third spot on the podium, while the Danish took the 4th place in the race.

Race Two (25 minutes)

Saturday, 10/06/23, 18.00, Weather: Cloudy, 17°C

The second and final race of the weekend started late on Saturday afternoon. It had rained before and the track was wet. Reno was starting from the pole position and when the lights went out, he kept his position and lead the way. Behind him, Sauter dropped down the order and Ethan and Mathias Bjerre took advantage to move up to 2nd and 3rd place respectively. With the sun now shining, the track was quickly drying and conditions were challenging. It was looking good for our team when, unfortunately, halfway through the race Ethan went wide and could not avoid the gravel trap. That’s where his race finished. Such a shame! Reno managed his position until the end of the race, taking his second victory and extending his lead even more before now going into the summer break. Mathias Bjerre crossed the line in a brilliant third place!
