BARNARD TOP IN JEREZ TEST

FIA F3

The 10 teams of the FIA F3 Championship met on 21/22/23 September for the last official testing days of the FIA 3 at the Circuito do Jerez (E). For our team drove the rookies Alex Garcia (MEX), who comes from the Euroformula championship, as well as Taylor Barnard (GB) and Nikita Bedrin (IT), who dare to undertake the step from the FIA F4 Italian and ADAC German championships. Very good weather accompanied the days.

The first morning was about our drivers familiarizing themselves with the vehicle and the circuit, which they were unfamiliar with. Nevertheless, our drivers managed to make a very good impression. At noon, Taylor was 16^th, Nikita was 20^th and Alex was 30^th.
In the afternoon things got down to business again, with around 2/3 rookies in the field and 1/3 of the drivers who had been driving the powerful FIA F3 vehicle all season. Despite this, Taylor finished 10^th, Nikita was 15^th and Alex 30^th.

A qualification is usually simulated on the second morning. And things got straight to the point. Our drivers did well again. Taylor finished 10^th, Nikita finished 17^th. Alex improved his gap to the front but was in 30^th place. In the afternoon long runs were traditionally driven. Nikita classified 22^nd, just ahead of Taylor, who was 23^rd. Alex reached the 28^th place.

On the third morning, a new qualifying simulation flared up. Taylor managed to improve to an excellent 7^th place, Nikita was a very good 14^th and Alex managed to come closer in lap times. He reached the 30^th place. Long runs were on the program again in the afternoon. Our drivers decided to do a few fast laps beforehand. Taylor achieved the best time of the afternoon. His time was not beaten until the end. Nikita got the 4^th best time and Alex got the 30^th time.

With this we conclude the active program in 2022. We are already looking forward to the next season, which will start as early as mid-February in Bahrain with three official test days.
