OFFICIAL TESTS IN VALENCIA - ZENDELI FAST WITH JENZER

The 10 FIA F3 Championship teams met up from 20^th to 22^nd October 2019 for the official post-season test days at the Circuito Ricardo Tormo near Valencia (E). For Jenzer Motorsport Calan Williams (AUS), Federico Malvestiti (I), Charles Leong (MAC), Lirim Zendeli (D) and Andreas Estner (D) all drove.

The weather was capricious, autumnal, wet and cool, which made the task difficult for new drivers. In addition, we were testing specific set ups for the prestigious Macau Grand Prix in November.

On the first day Lirim Zendeli was fastest of the 30 drivers in the morning with a lap of 1:33.719 in our car. Federico Malvestiti was 20^th and Calan Williams, who was in the FIA F3 machine for the first time, was 27^th. In the afternoon the track dried and Lirim was again on fine form with a 1:21.685 and 4^th place overall. Federico was 23^rd and Calan was 26^th.

On the second day the track remained dry. Calan claimed a good 16^th place in the morning, while Federico was 20^th and Charles was 25^th. In the afternoon, Federico, Charles and Calan were in line in 26^th, 27^th and 28^th.

The third day was terribly wet, cool and windy. Calan reached 23^rd place in the morning, Andreas Estner was 26^th and Charles 29^th. In the afternoon Andreas finished 21^st, Calan was 22^nd and Charles was 24^th.

On all three days the competition was very tough and the 30 strong field was always very close even in difficult conditions.

Now we are looking forward to the last stage of the season, the Macau Grand Prix, which will be held from November 14^th to 17^th, 2019.
