FWS F4 Winter Series

Race One (30 Min + 1 lap)

Saturday, 07/03/26, 14.00, Weather: Rainy, 11°C

The Qualifying session in the morning took place in changeable conditions and was interrupted by two red flags, meaning that very few lap times could be set in the end. There were also many penalties for exceeding track limits, and some drivers consequently failed to achieve a valid lap time. Levi and Markas performed very well in the difficult conditions. Teo and Nicolas, on the other hand, found themselves at the back of the starting grid.

The track was fairly dry, but it was raining lightly at the start, and dark clouds were gathering ominously overhead. Most of the drivers at the front of the field started on slick tires, while some further back, including Teo and Nicolas, took a gamble and opted for rain tires.

However, although it continued to rain lightly throughout the race, and the track became increasingly slippery, it wasn't until the last two laps that it became wet enough for rain tires to offer an advantage. By then, it was too late for Teo and Nicolas to make up the significant positions they had lost. Teo finished 24th and Nicolas 28th.
Levi and Markas kept up very well throughout the increasingly difficult conditions and made no mistakes. Levi brought home a clean 11th place. Markas even improved his position by several places, ultimately finishing 12th, right behind Levi.

Race Two (30 Min + 1 lap)

Sunday, 08/03/25, 13.30, Weather: Cloudy, 12 °C

Qualifying on Sunday morning went smoothly. The track was damp, and conditions were challenging. Markas missed a significant portion of the session due to a technical issue. Unfortunately, his lap times were deleted during the two laps he was able to complete because of track limits, which placed him at the back of the field. Many other drivers had some of their laptimes deleted for the same reason, including Teo and Nicolas. Despite this setback, Teo secured an excellent 7th place on the starting grid.

Shortly after midday, the second race, finally on a dry track, got underway. Levi fought hard and was well within the top ten. He performed exceptionally well in the second half of the race, improving to an excellent 6th place. This meant he finished 3rd in the Rookie standings. Markas was also running in the top ten, but he went off the track a few times, incurring a time penalty. In the final laps of the race, he made contact and damaged his front wing. He ultimately finished in 26th place. Teo drove a very good race, steadily improving his position. From 22nd, he climbed to 11th, narrowly missing out on a top-ten finish. Nicolas damaged his front wing after the start and pitted for a new one. He rejoined the race but received a track limits penalty. He finished in 28th place.

Race Three (30 Min + 1 lap)

Sunday, 08/03/26, 14.20, Weather: Cloudy, 12°C

The third race on late Sunday afternoon also started on a dry track. Teo was doing well and was in 7th position when he was pushed from behind and flew off track with damage to his rear suspension. Unfortunately, this ended his race and prevented him from achieving another good result. Levi had worked his way up the field well in the early laps and managed the three restarts after the safety car periods very well. He soon appeared in the top ten. Levi managed to move up to 6th place and to defend it well in the final laps. This also earned him another 3rd place on the rookie podium. Markas started far back and charged relentlessly forward. He achieved his best result of the weekend with a 12th-place finish. Nicolas was also doing well, gaining positions and crossing the finish line in a respectable 16th place. This brought a challenging race weekend to a successful close.
