Friday, 18/09/26, 17.20 – 17.40 Q S2

With 47 drivers, the number of participants exceeded the track's capacity for racing. According to the regulations, there were two qualifying series, which were drawn by lot. Each series had 20 minutes. The results of the two series were then used to form three groups: Groups A, B, and C. These groups then each competed in two qualifying races: Group B versus C, Group A versus B, and Group A versus C. The top 36 drivers competed in the final race in the end.

Qualifying Race One (25 minutes + 1 lap) – Group B versus Group C

Saturday, 19/09/26, 11.15, Weather: Sunny, 23°C

The first race started in glorious sunshine. Levi got off to a good start and immediately improved to 11th place. Bader started a little further back and quickly moved up several positions. An accident occurred in the front half of the field, and the safety car briefly took over. At the restart, Levi improved to 8th place, and Bader had already advanced to 14th. The field was very active over the next few laps, and there were soon more accidents requiring the safety car. Levi handled this restart equally well and defended his 8th place. Bader drove excellently, gaining a position almost every lap. In the final laps, he appeared in the top ten and soon after in 9th place, right behind Levi. Both drivers thus brought home a very good result. Levi also climbed onto the podium as the 3rd-placed rookie.

Qualifying Race Two (25 minutes + 1 lap) – Group A versus Group B

Saturday, 19/09/26, 17.05, Weather: Sunny, 25°C

Teo had set the fastest lap overall in qualifying and started the race from pole position. He left nothing to chance and shot into the lead. Elia also got off to a good start and, after some battles, settled into 6th place. Nicolas was in 15th and Bader in 21st. Teo was doing a fantastic job, setting very fast lap times. He drove an excellent race. Only towards the end did he come under heavy pressure from Bansal, who had already won another qualifying race that morning. Ultimately, disaster struck on the last lap when the three leading drivers collided in a corner. Teo, Bansal, and Robinson all went off the track. This gave Costoya the victory ahead of Craigie. And Elia, who had put in an excellent performance, crossed the finish line in 3rd place. Thus, despite everything, a driver from Jenzer Motorsport made it onto the podium. Nicolas finished the race in 13th place, Bader came in 17th after a collision that left him without a front wing, and Teo managed to cross the finish line in 23rd place. He had led the race for a sensational 16 laps, but unfortunately lost the victory on the 17th and final lap.
Several penalties were handed out after the race, unfortunately including one for Elia. He lost his podium position and dropped back to 21st place. Bader also received a time penalty and was relegated to 26th place.

Qualifying Race Three (25 minutes + 1 lap) – Group A versus Group C

Sunday, 20/09/26, 10.10, Weather: Sunny, 24°C

The third race on Sunday morning also took place in beautiful sunshine. Elia got off to a good start and remained close to the front in 5th place. He set the fastest lap time of the race on the final lap, securing a great top-five finish. In the early laps, Teo, Nicolas, and Levi, who were following each other closely, battled actively for position, several times entering a corner three-on-three. After a while, Teo consolidated his position in 9th, Nicolas was 10th, and Levi, who was on the oldest tyres, had to settle for 16th place.
Luka Sammalisto, who finished the race in 12th place, thus earned enough points to secure the 2027 FIA F4 Italian Championship title at this early stage of the season.

Teo had already moved up the field when he was involved in a collision with two other cars and dropped back. He finished in 24th place. Levi was driving well and had steadily improved when he collided with Simek on the last lap of the race and went off the track. He was classified in 31st place.
