OSCAR TUNJO BACK IN THE GP3 SERIES

We are delighted to announce that Oscar Tunjo, the 20-year old from Cali, Columbia, is joining us in our GP3 Series team:

Oscar Tunjo has already taken part in the GP3 Series in selected races. He crowned his good results with a podium and a victory at the RedBull Ring and in 2014 he achieved Rookie podiums in the WSR 3.5 Series. Before that he established himself with wins and podiums in Formula Renault 2.0 in the Eurocup, the ALPS and in the NEC championships between 2011 and 2013. In 2010 Oscar was runner up in the Formula BMW Pacific Series. Before that he competed very successfully at national and international level in karting starting in 2001 and continuing through to 2009. Oscar is very keen to be able to start the season in the brand new, powerful GP3 car, yet again running in the high powered environs of Formula One.

Andreas Jenzer commented: “With Oscar we have a very experienced and determined driver in the team. The goal can only be top results. We are looking forward to starting racing with him.”

The next GP3 Series tests will be held on 7^th/8^th April 2016 in Valencia (E).
