Race One (30 Min + 1 lap)

Saturday, 08/03/25, 14.05, Weather: Overcast, 15°C

The first race of the weekend started under dark clouds. However, only a few drops fell and the track was dry on the racing line. Bart got off to a very good start, he kept 3rd place and was very fast. He had just driven the fastest lap of the race when his car suddenly lost water. Bart had no choice but to abandon the race in the pit lane, which was very disappointing for him. Artem was also doing very well and was only beaten by Anurag. Artem drove a very strong race and finished in an excellent 4th place. This meant he was second best rookie. Enea started from 12th place. He managed to work his way up lap by lap. He first moved up to 11th, then to 8th and finally finished in a very good 7th place. Javier Herrera, our Mexican rookie, contested his first race weekend in this category here. He had qualified in a super 9th place. After the start he suffered a contact. After that he dropped back a bit. With two laps to go, he drove into the pit lane, where he unfortunately had to abandon the race. It turned out that he had damaged a suspension during the contact. He was listed in 25th place in the results list.

Race Two (30 Min + 1 lap)

Sunday, 09/03/25, 09.15, Weather: Wet, 13°C

On Sunday morning the track was wet. With three of our drivers in the top 6 on the grid everyone was very hopeful. Artem missed the start a little and dropped to 5th. Bart got off to a good start and moved up to 4th. Javier managed to hold on to 6th. One car soon ended up in the gravel trap and the Safety Car had to be deployed. Enea had dropped to 27th. Conditions were quite difficult, the track was very slippery. Soon the rain started to fall heavier. Then Anurag rolled out to the side of the track and the Safety Car stayed out until that car was also cleared away. At the restart our drivers held their positions. Bart was now 3rd, Artem 4th and Javier an excellent 5th. Bart now put pressure on McLaughlin for 2nd but he didn't want to risk too much. He brought home a beautiful 3rd place on the podium in the end. Artem was close behind him in 4th place, which meant 2nd place in the rookie ranking. Unfortunately, Javier, in his second race in this category, braked too late and went into the gravel. He got back on track without help and finished an otherwise excellent race in 19th place. Enea reached the finish in 25th place. The team was very pleased with the good overall performance of our drivers.

Race Three (30 Min + 1 lap)

Sunday, 09/03/25, 15.50, Weather: Sunny, 16°C

At the end of the weekend, the sun came out and the track was dry for the third and very last race of the 2025 FWS Winter Series. The start was on time and the large field set off again. All drivers gave their best once again. Bart held 4th place after the start, Artem was surprised by Anurag and was now 6th, Enea followed in 8th place. Javier was 17th after the first lap. Then Robinson had a collision with Rehm and the two fell back. This put Bart in 2nd place behind Bearman. Enea was now in 6th place and Artem was right behind him in 7th position. During the very exciting race, in which everyone wanted to bring home a good result, there were several penalties at the end. Bearman received a 5 second time penalty for a false start. Unfortunately, Bart was also penalized 5 seconds for track limits. Javier also received a time penalty for track limits. In the end, Bart finished in an excellent 3rd place. Enea was 5th and Artem 6th, which meant 2nd place in the rookie ranking for him. This meant that three of our drivers had reached the top 6 in the overall result, which meant a very good team result at the end. Our rookie Javier was listed in 21st place on the results list. It was a very eventful first race weekend in this category for him!
