With William Alatalo, 19 year old Finnish driver with Ethiopian roots, Jenzer Motorsport announces it’s second driver in FIA F3.

William Alatalo will be a rookie in FIA F3, but he will rely on his experience collected in five years formation in Formula cars, which, after five years of successful karting, started in 2017 in Formula STCC Nordic. After that he moved to international ground in FIA F4 UAE and in the FIA F4 Italian Championship, where he was able to score 3 wins and several podiums. He continued in FIA F4 Italy in 2018 and 2019, using his experience also in FIA F4 ADAC Germany. 2020 saw him in the Formula Renault Eurocup where he achieved 2 podiums and 9th place overall. In 2021 William stood on the podium in the Formula Regional European Championship, finishing 11th overall in a hard fought season. William is now ready to step up to the FIA F3 Championship.

William Alatalo stated: "I am extremely happy to drive FIA F3 with Jenzer Motorsport. This is one step closer to my dream, and I will do everything I can to score good results. The championship is going to be really tough. We as team need to do our best to get good results. I believe me and Jenzer can achieve good results along the season. I trust the team, and I will do my best on and off-track. I will do better than before, and that’s a promise I intend to keep.
During my winter break I have prepared mentally and physically to the best of my knowledge. I know that I am ready to drive in FIA F3 championship, and I will show it on the track. The season is going to be a long one, and I am ready to fight until the end.”

Andreas Jenzer explained: “William is a rookie in FIA F3 this season, and as we know well from experience, this can be hard at times. However, with all his experience, dedication and motivation William is bringing with him, good results are what we are aiming for. We will work hard together and look forward to be on track in Bahrain.”
