TSUNODA CONSISTENTLY FAST IN BUDAPEST

The last pre-season test days of the FIA F3 championship took place on 16^th /17^th April 2019 at the Hungaroring near Budapest. The weather was good and the test programs could be executed as desired.

The first morning started with a mixed result. Yuki tried to be quick at once but completely overpowered. This left him in 16^th position at the end of the morning. Artem managed a very good lap, finishing 6^th. Andreas' car had electrical problems, so he couldn’t drive much at first. He was in 27^th place. In the afternoon our drivers reached the following positions: Yuki was 9^th, Artem 14^th, and Andreas 26^th. Once again it was not easy to find a perfect lap within the full field of 30 cars on track!

On the morning of the second day, Yuki achieved 5^th fastest lap time. Artem was 22^nd, Andreas 25^th. Race distances were driven, and it became clear once again how important the right handling of Pirelli tires is. Fast to the end will be those who follow the instructions of the team best. In the afternoon our drivers put in some fast laps before the race simulation. Yuki's time was not equalized afterwards, and he stayed in 1^st place until the end. Artem was 4^th and Andreas 11^th.

With this good team result we look forward to the first race of the new season, which takes place on the weekend of May 12, 2019 in Barcelona, where FIA F3 will again be part of the support program for the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
