Estner signs to race in FIA F3 with Jenzer Motorsport

We are pleased to announce 17 year old Andreas Estner from Bavaria, Germany, as driver in our FIA F3 team. This completes our 2019 driver line-up. The racing driver, who was still racing in ADAC Formula 4 in 2018, has made the leap to the next higher class.

The FIA F3 cockpit has not had much to do with his last year's engagement, and attending the official FIA F3 test in Paul Ricard (F) with our team in March meant jumping into the cold. But his sense of fast racing cars worked well. Lap by lap, he improved and ended up consistently in the top 15 of 30 highly rated drivers. The reward for Andreas: a commitment that it works with his first FIA F3 season.

Andreas Estner: “It went surprisingly well. Everything is impressive, but not scary. I am very pleased. Despite everything, I have to stay on the ground. The competition is enormous and almost all bring much more experience. This is bound to be a learning year.”

Andreas Jenzer: “Welcome to Andreas in our team. His potential is obvious and Andreas does not shy away from hard work. The results will come.”
