OFFICIAL GP3 TEST DAYS IN BARCELONA JENZER BOYS RELIABLY FAST

The GP3 Series teams met up on 19^th and 20^th April 2017 for the official test days at the Catalunya Circuit near Barcelona (E). Alessio Lorandi (I) and Arjun Maini (IND) drove for Jenzer Motorsport.

As we have experienced so many times at Barcelona, the first day started damp and cool, and it took some time until slick tyres could be mounted and the lap times finally began to tumble. Arjun was fresh and motivated and achieved the fastest lap time of all in the morning session, while Alessio held a good 9^th position. The sun came out in the afternoon and the lap times which were set early in the session proved to be the fastest. Arjun reached an excellent 3rd place in the afternoon and Alessio was a great 5^th.

The second day actually started sunny and dry and you could have been forgiven for thinking the first qualifying session of the season was taking place! Arjun and Alessio were very nervy and the result at lunchtime showed Arjun in 10^th and Alessio in 15^th. In the afternoon we tested race simulations and to end the test Alessio finished in a beautiful 2^nd with Arjun in a very nice 7^th.

The team will travel on to Valencia (E) from here, where on 25^th/26^th April the last pre-season test days will take place.
The first race of the new season is part of the Formula 1 Grand Prix programme on 13^th/14^th May 2017, in Barcelona (E).
