Press Release 01 / 2017

15th February 2017

Van Uitert (NL), Malvestiti (I) and Carrara (ARG) with Jenzer Motorsport in the F4 Italian Championship

GP3-Series

Jenzer Motorsport is proud to announce the first drivers who will compete with us in the 2017 Italian Formula 4 Championship. After our success in 2016 with Marcos Siebert, who very convincingly won the championship with us, we are keenly looking forward to competing in this new season.

Here we present three drivers who have signed for JENZER MOTORSPORT:

Job Van Uitert (NL), 18-years old from Dongen, The Netherlands. In 2016 Job competed in both the German and Italian F4 Championships with us. He claimed a great 4th place overall in Italy, with two race wins in his pocket. After graduating to university, Job now wants to focus on one championship only. Job is clearly aiming for more podium finishes this season!

Federico Malvestiti (I), 16-years old, from Monza, Italy. Growing up next to the famous Monza F1 circuit, Federico competed in his first karting race on the special track inside the Parabolica corner. His passion grew from there and he raced successfully in karting from 2006 to 2015. In 2016 he was a rookie in Formula 4, with his best results two rookie podiums at Adria. By joining Jenzer Motorsport for 2017 Federico and the team are expecting a great season.

Giorgio Carrara (ARG), from Las Breñas, Argentina. Giorgio is the youngest of the three, and comes straight from karting. He contested in his first kart race when he was 6 years old and raced very successfully in national and international kart races, even coming to Italy in the WSK Series. A test at the end of 2016 in our Formula 4 car confirmed his wish to change to single seaters and to follow in the footsteps of his compatriot Marcos Siebert. Giorgio will be 16 years old on 16th February 2017, and by chance this is the first test day of the new season!
